I'm In Shape, Round Is A Shape

My roommates and I decided that we get out of our winter hibernation mode and get movin' this spring. We all have been trying to eat healthier and start exercising more....


Jen and I have been doing Turbo Jam this week. I have had a blast doing it! Uppercut, hook, jab, knee, kick and shake it out... May I just tell you that I have found a whole new set of muscles that have been hiding for too long.


Everyday I ache with the wonderful pain knowing that I've been putting my body to work. I highly recommend finding some way to get moving this spring and keep it up all summer long. Whether it's going to the gym, lifting weights, hiking, or just going for a walk around the block it will be good for your body to get your blood pumping and get some fresh air.

***Here's my little tip to disguise exercise for the kids. Get a Wii or even just look up on Youtube for Just Dance or Just Dance 2 videos. You just follow the people on the screen and bust some sweet dance moves. If I'm not doing turbo jam, I'm grooving in my room and breaking a sweat. I think it counts as a cardio workout and best of all the whole family can do it!***

  1. I totally agree! I have been trying to mix my exercise up and it keeps me motivated to stay in shape. My exercise consists of Zumba, P90X, Running (Slowely), and now Step Aerobics. I also do weight lifting. I love exercising and learning about nutrition. Way to go Nesh! Keep it up!!
